Punch up your Presentation with Humor, Engagement and Pizzazz!
There is an old saying around NSA:
“Do you have to be funny to speak?”
“Only if you want to get paid!”
But Content is still King. However, the more engaging we can be when we present our material, the more effective it will be. This session doesn’t attempt to turn a speaker into a standup comedian in a few hours. There are no quick comedy tips and tricks like “words that end in K are funny.” But you WILL learn some easy ways to add humor, engagement and pizzazz to your presentations, whether online or in-person. You’ll be encouraged to trust your natural warmth and really get your audience to “lean in!”
We’ll continue in the afternoon session, with a roll-up-your-sleeves, hands-on portion. So, bring whatever you might be working on and let’s get it punched up! All material, pictures, props, etc. welcome!
