CSP Speaker – Marvelless Mark
Our very own Marvelless Mark got deep with us. He gave us steps to get to the core of what we are about. He asked us to dig into the one thing that we need to do in our business that will move us forward the most. Mark’s unique and conversational style allowed people to dig into their own needs around growing their business and walk away with a better understanding of where they should focus their attention.
Kelly Swanson – Stories Unplugged: A Deep Dive Into What Makes a Story WORK
Kelly gave us a hands-on workshop. She helped individuals from the chapter discover the elements it takes to tell effective stories by working on those elements for the perfect story. Kelly started by telling us one of her signature stories. She had everyone’s rapt attention. She told us that to get people truly involved in the story, give details. Before telling the story, you must know what the point is. Where are you trying to lead your listeners? Then hold their attention and give them the aha moment by diving deep into the story with details that will make your audience feel like they are right in the story with you.
Kelly worked with Eric Curry on a story he currently has and helped him to dive deeper into the subject. She helped Rachel Kuhlen understand how to talk about a very serious topic yet keep the atmosphere light so that she doesn’t bring the audience down. Her fun demeanor and deep understanding of storytelling made her talk relevant to the entire group.
NSA-LV Insight to Action Huddle
There is a new opportunity for you to expand your learning from our monthly events. Jimmy and Rhonda Lee are hosting a Zoom call on the Thursday following our chapter event. We held our first call on September 14th. The purpose is to be able to chat with others about the lessons learned from our amazing speakers. We had an intimate group of people on our first call. We were able to really dig deeper into our takeaways from Kelly and Mark.
